COLORING

Haircolor has come a long way over the years. We can customize pretty much any color for your hair, whether you want to go lighter or darker. I love the creativity I get to use in the formulation and application. But standard gray-coverage root touch ups, with a splash of highlights are some of my favorites!

HIGHLIGHTS

I create highlights using foils and various techniques to customize the size, amount, and brightness of the blonde pieces. Be sure to bring some pictures so we can discuss exactly what you like for how light, what tone, how much, and where you like the blondes. I will also be sure to talk about proper home care and maintenance plans - like how often to get it retouched and what to plan on booking, as well as what to use at home to maintain the color of your blondes and the health of your hair. GENERAL NOTE, it's possible to have an extra charge for any color we use above and beyond the standard mix (usually between $5-$15, but it depends on the exact amount of color used). If you want to do additional colors, like a lowlight with the highlight, or a root smudge with the toner, its $16 for an extra color mix.

Mini Highlight $78 (with a root touch up $105) ***

This is great if you only want a few bright pieces, to add a smidge of color,  typically around the face.

We use half the amount of color as a partial highlight, and its usually between 10-15 foils.

Average appointment time 2-2.5 hrs

Partial Highlight $112 (with a root touch up $139)***

Recommended for a pop of color on the top, while keeping it darker underneath.

Average appointment time 2-2.5 hrs

Full Highlight $134 (with a root touch up $161)***

Recommended for the brightest, boldest blondes, while maintaining some dimension.

Average appointment time 2.5 -3 hrs

Balayage $139 (with a root touch up $168)***

Great for a natural blend as it grows out. The balayage is super customizable to create that perfect, lived-in blonde.

Average appointment time 2.5-3 hrs

Platinum Card $189+***

This is one of the most extensive color services. It's great if you want to be 100% the brightest, boldest blonde, without dimension. I apply foils, with no hair left out. All of it gets lightened. Some sort of hair repair treatment is basically mandatory with this one.

Average appointment time 3-5 hrs

***Toner $34

I recommend doing toner every time I do highlights. Toner is demi-permanent color used on wet hair to neutralize the brassiness and achieve the precise shade we're looking for, while being gentle on the integrity and health of the hair. It also gives your hair a freshly-colored finish. Toner usually processes for 5-15 mins. Please see other RECOMMENDED ADDONS below.

SOLID COLOR

Great for creating a uniform color throughout your hair. However, this only applies when you're doing the same color or darker than what you currently have. Otherwise, if you want to go lighter, it would be considered a highlighting or corrective color service. GENERAL NOTE, it's possible to have an extra charge for any color we use above and beyond the standard mix (usually between $5-$15, but it depends on the exact amount of color used).

Root Touch Up $86

When you want to cover those pesky grays, or make your roots darker, this is a great way to go.

I also recommend doing a glossing toner ($34) every 3rd or 4th time to ensure even tone and minimize color build up on your hair.

Average appointment time is 1hr 45 mins - 2hr

All Over Color $112

When you want to color all of the hair to be the same, uniform color.

Average appointment time is 2-2.5 hrs

RECOMMENDED ADDONS

Haircut $53: Even if it's just a small clean up on the ends, it creates that nice finished edge, gets rid of split ends, and and leaves the hair feeling clean and polished.

Restorative treatment $16-53: Because I care about the health and integrity of your hair, I like to recommend at least one restorative treatment when coloring or highlighting hair. We have a wide selection of customizable treatments so we can pick the best one for your hair type and texture. Here are some of my favorites:

Deep conditioning mask: $16

Olaplex: $26+

Kerastase Fusiodose: $37

Brazilian Split End Treatment: $37

Extensioniste Treatment: $53

And if you REALLY want to treat yourself, I also offer brow services as well - like tinting ($25) and waxing ($16).

NOTE: If you're still not sure what to book, I also offer free consultations.

CUTTING

We should really change these so they’re not gender specific, but here in Utah it isn’t often addressed… Anyway, I do about 90% of my haircuts dry for superior blend and personal preference. We also include a wash and style with it.

Men’s haircuts: $28

These are usually done with clippers or scissors. There are a variety of styles. Here in Utah, that style is often clippers on the side and a little length on top. I don’t specialize in mullets. Appointment time 30-45 mins.

Women’s haircuts: $53

There is a lot of variety. I love doing pixies, bobs, and anything above the shoulder with lots of texture. I don’t specialize in mullets, but I do conservative shags. I hesitate to name the style, because there are so many names for different styles. But you get the idea. Appointment time 60-75 mins.

RECOMMENDED HAIRCUT ADD ONS:

Deep conditioning treatments are a great place to start, for adding extra care and manageability for your hair. Here are a few of my favorites for haircuts (also, feel free to scroll down to the conditioning treatments for a full description of each one):

Deep Conditioner $16

Fusio Scrub (scalp treatment) $37

Split End Treatment $37

Fusio Dose $37

I also do eyebrow tinting ($25) and waxing ($16) if you really want to make it a one-stop-shop :)

EXTENSIONS

The hair itself is an investment, and is not returnable once it’s installed. When you care for it properly, it lasts at least three move-ups, but typically up to a year. I don’t specialize in mermaid/barbie hair, but I love extensions for helping people feel like they have a normal amount of hair again. I am trained with the Babe Hair Extensions brand/method. Extensions are great for adding length, thickness, or a pop of color to transform your look. Price varies greatly, because they are so customizable. Feel free to take a look at the rough numbers below. I do free consultations so we can find what’s right for your hair and lifestyle before we proceed.

Hand-Tied Weft

This is the most comfortable type of extensions I’ve ever had in my hair, and is rapidly growing in popularity. Versions of this method have been around for a long time. Other common names/methods for it are beaded row, NBR (natural beaded row), wefts, sewn in, weave (braid & sew -- I don’t do the braid method, but it’s a similar concept). Basically, we create a thin track using about 10 small beads per row, then we sew the weft of hair onto this track. This type of extension is very versatile for styling, and easy to camouflage. No sticky adhesives.

Time between consultation and appointment: NA - we can install it without waiting for hair to be ordered

Cost of hair: $60-$90 per weft (average full head application is 8-12 wefts)

Cost of install: $75 per row (typical application is 2 rows)

Appointment time: about 2 hrs

Appointment frequency: 6-8 weeks

Tape-in

This has been a very common method, and is probably the one I’ve had the most experience in. However, it’s not my favorite because of the sticky adhesive and the possibility of falling out between appointments. It’s great for adding a lot of hair quickly, but can be tricky to camouflage if you like to wear your hair up. With this method, the hair is manufactured into sections that are about 1 ½” wide, with an adhesive strip at the top. To install it, we section the hair, peel off the sticker, and stick it to your hair. Then we repeat with another piece of extension on the other side of the section or use a single sided ‘tape’ to secure it.

Time between consultation and appointment: 1 week (to order the hair and have it ready for you)

Cost of hair: $80-150 per package (average full head application is 4-6 packages)

Cost of install: $5 per section (typical application is 20-30 sections)

Appointment time: about 1 hr

Appointment frequency: 4-6 weeks

Clip in & Halo/Crown

These are great for adding a full head of extensions for a day. You get to put them in and take them out as you please. I recommend these for updos and bridal styles. These are also great if you don’t like the feeling of sleeping with extensions in your hair. I offer “clip in install” where I show you how to do it, and then offer tips as I watch you do it yourself.

Time between consultation and appointment: 1 week (to order the hair and have it ready for you)

Cost of hair: $260-370

Cost of install: $16

Appointment time: 15-30 mins

Appointment frequency: Once

*I am also trained in Beaded and Fusion extensions, but I don’t currently offer them.

STYLING

We do not charge extra to style during a haircut. So, these are for special occasions when you want your hair to look a little extra nice, or to simply pamper yourself.

Dry Style $26**

If you have a special occasion like a birthday or a photoshoot, this is the perfect opportunity to get your hair curled or straightened. This is a quick, simple 30 min appointment for styling the hair when it’s already dry.

Blowdry Style $42**

Same as the dry style, but this one also includes the luxurious shampoo experience (like seriously, you have to check out our fully reclining and massaging chairs at the shampoo bar). Average appointment time is 45-60 mins.

Bridal Hair $79**

So, your big day is coming up! We can do custom styles whether you like it all up, half up, or something in between. I also love to recommend doing a trial run before the big day, whether that’s during the brainstorming phase, or for bridal pictures, it’s great just to practice the style to make sure we get it perfect. (Trial runs are the same price as the actual day). Plan on the appointment being about 60-75mins.

Bridal Onsite $95**

Same thing as above, but we will travel to you.

RECOMMENDED STYLING ADDONS:

Deep conditioning treatments are a great place to start, for adding extra shine and manageability for your style. Here are a few of my favorites for styling/updos (also, feel free to scroll down to the conditioning treatments for a full description of each one):

Kerastase K Water $27

Split End Treatment $37

Fusio Dose $37

Fusio Scrub (scalp treatment) $37

**If you really want to add some pizzazz to your style, you may want to consider extensions. This is a great thing to discuss in a free consultation.

TREATMENTS

Whether you want to treat yourself or a friend, or you're looking for something to improve the health and integrity of your hair, we have something for you.

Fusio-Scrub $37

This is our only scalp treatment. There are two different types that we can mix and match with three different additives. It basically feels like a gentle exfoliating scrub for your face…. But on your scalp. It’s very refreshing, but not recommended on the same day as a color service. This is a great scalp treatment, because it only takes 5-10 mins so it can easily be added onto another service.

Conditioning Mask $16

This is a great treat to get in the salon, but you can also buy the product we use, so you can do it at home too. It’s basically a thick, concentrated version of conditioner. Gives the hair an added boost for about a week. Timing is between 5-20 mins depending on the hair.

Kerastase K Water Treatment $27

Excellent for adding radiant shine, for a special occasion like a bridal style or a photoshoot, but only lasts for 1 wash. Application takes about 30 seconds, and it works instantly.

Brazilian Split End Treatment $37

Helps seal the ends of your hair to prevent further splitting. Great way to preserve your lengths, and protect your hair from breaking even more. Lasts in the hair for several weeks. Application is about 5 mins, and we style it using the flat iron.

Kerastase Fusiodose $37

My personal favorite. There are several concentrates and boosters that we mix and match to create the perfect custom benefits for your hair. We can pick from radiance, reconstruction, nutrition, densitying, and more. It lasts in the hair for about 4-6 weeks. Application time is about 2 mins, and it works instantly (but I like to let it sit for about 5 mins).

Olaplex $26 per bowl

Olaplex is basically a magic gold liquid that we can add to color, lightener, and even perm solution to protect the hair during chemical treatments. It helps to rebuild and strengthen the bonds inside the hair that hold it together. After we shampoo out the hair color, we then use a second formula that has a consistency like conditioner and let that sit for 10-20 mins to solidify the bonds created in the first step. You can then shampoo and do another treatment instead of conditioner, if you desire.

B3E $42

Very similar to Olaplex, but a slightly different product and application. This one doesn’t have to be done during a chemical service.

Extensioniste Treatment $53

When your hair refuses to grow, this helps maintain the length of your hair, encourages the ends to stop breaking, and stimulates the scalp to keep growing. Application is about 10-15 mins.

Keratin Straightening Brazilian Blowout and Perm Texture Gallery

17877784798554986.jpg

TEXTURE

Whether you have curly hair and want to make it straight, or straight hair and want to make it curly, there is a solution to your hair texture and curl pattern.

Perm $106

We roll the hair on customizable sized curling rods, and apply the perm solution. The term “perm” is actually short for “permanent wave” so, it will relax over time, but the hair is left permanently curly until it grows out. My hair is naturally super straight, so I love perms… but be warned, this is the most harmful thing for your hair besides a chemical relaxer. Appointment time is usually around 2 hours.

Brazilian Blowout $201-$318 (depending on length and thickness of hair)

This is a keratin smoothing treatment, which is not the same thing as a relaxer. This can be done on colored and bleached hair (in fact, it’s recommended) since it actually helps the hair become more healthy. It seals the cuticle to tame frizzy, curly, and unruly hair. This will relax the curl for 10-12 weeks. There is an express version of this if you just want to try it out to see if you’re unsure if you’re ready to commit. Appointment time is about 1.5 hrs.

Brazilian Express $80-$132 (depending on length and thickness of hair)

See above. The main difference is the application and product used. The results may not be quite as strong as the classic Brazilian Blowout and this one only lasts 4-6 weeks. Appointment time is about 45 mins.
